ERIN LONGMIRE

Wine Club Manager

Born and raised in Washington state, Erin relocated numerous times throughout the Pacific Northwest before settling in the Willamette Valley after falling in love with wine country in 2015.  Energetic and compassionate, Erin strives to consistently deliver a memorable service experience for every person she meets. When Erin is not in the tasting room mingling with our wine club members, you can find her exploring Oregon with her husband, Mike, and bulldog, Bella.

How did you originally become interested in wine?

I moved to Northern California after college in my early twenties and fell in love with wine country and the culture that followed. I found everything so interesting, and I was curious to learn more about the history and science behind it all. I really fell in love with Pinot Noir, which led me to the Willamette Valley. I could not believe I could make my passion for wine into a career!

What is your favorite Chehalem wine?

Any of our Pinot, but our Reserve Pinot Noir is amazing! Not only is it food-friendly, but it is quite delicious all on its own. I always look forward to pouring our Reserve for new guests and love seeing people get just as excited about this wine as I do.

Outside the winery how do you like to spend your time?

Typically, I want to be outdoors. Anything in nature suits me. Hiking, backpacking, fishing, kayaking; get me outside and I am happy!

What club events do you enjoy the most?

I always look forward to our Spring and Fall Club Release parties. Club members enjoy tastings of our upcoming new releases, club exclusive wines, and the chance to try rare library releases from time to time, all paired with small bites by local guest chefs. And at the end of the day, club members get to take home their fall wine selection and everyone is happy!
