2009 3 Vineyard
Pinot Gris
Shows richness and a great emollience, with a deep blonde color, rich white blossoms, tropical fruit and spice, slate and minerality, and ripe and creamy palate characters. A relatively big wine waiting for big foods to match.
|
2009 Grüner Veltliner
White and yellow fruits and blossoms predominate. Honeydew melon, white peach, quince, lemon verbena, and a distinctive white pepper and ginger spiciness make this wine versatile as a food wine. Excellent balance, minerality, weight, and breadth on the palate. |

2008 Corral Creek Vineyards Riesling
Candied citrus, fruit cocktail, wet stone, and white flower aromatic richness is tightly wound in a very young, vibrant wine. Citrus and fruit cocktail follows through on the palate, with both weight and acidity imposing a tension to the wine.

2008 Reserve
Pinot Gris
Bright and rich with plenty of structure and ripe fruit, from white-yellow stone fruit to tropical, with warm baking spices and butterscotch hints thrown in. The emollient, lime-tinged mineral-oil texture balances well with great acidity. |

2009 Sext Riesling
This wine is all about freshness, with a slight sparkle and platinum-white color inviting you to taste. Aromatically it recalls white flowers, perfume, and tropical fruit—think jasmine, apple, Meyer lemon rind, white peach, and stone. Flavors follow, with a sweet entry that is restrained by laser acid.
|
2007 Ian's Reserve Chardonnay
Gorgeous yellow to platinum colored wine. Very intense and rich, in both aroma and flavor, with spice, custard, and vanilla highlights over a firm palate of white and yellow fruit-pear, pineapple, melon, papaya and lemon. Great weight and length.

2008 3 Vineyard
Pinot Noir
Carries gobs of fruit, good structure, and a nice, long finish. Exotic aromas and flavors of clove, cardamom, pepper spice, mineral, orange marmalade, green tea, and plum as well as herbal and brown forest-floor characters make this wine complex and always evolving.

Red-black fruit characteristics, black cherry, blackberry, and cola, with dustiness, chocolate, spice, tobacco, earthiness, coffee, and spice. The entry is smooth, tannins slightly chewy, acidity balanced, and the weight and texture lovely and broad.

2008 Corral Creek Vineyards Pinot Noir
An elegant and sensuous Pinot Noir, with ripe, rich, and complex red fruits of strawberry, cherry, red currant, and mixed berry compote. Add to this the accents of black tea, rose petal aromatics, pepper, spice, and potpourri, and you sense unusual complexity.
