It's a great way to learn about our wines and buy them at a great price, and a great way for us to get to know you better.

Being a Chehalem TASTING PANEL Member Offers Several Perks

Great Prices: 20% case discount on all Chehalem wines, as well as the wines we ship you three times a year.

First to Try the New Releases: wines are shipped several weeks prior to public release in order to assure that members can purchase our limited-production wines.

Events: FREE entry for up to 4 people at all Chehalem public events, early admission to private events such as our Best Barrel Tasting, and special invitations to other Chehalem wine events, including our Annual Celebration of the Arts.

Tasting Panel Event: Greetings! Annual Tasting Panel Event:
We want the TASTING PANEL to be an educational experience, so in addition to sending technical notes with the wines, we hold an annual wine event geared toward learning about a specific wine topic. Seminars have included vertical library tastings, cool-climate viticulture, and a Riedel Tasting course.

How the Tasting Panel Works

Three Wine Shipments: We want to provide wine to your door in the same temperature-protected condition in which it has been stored since harvest. Accordingly, we send late winter, spring, and fall shipments of our wines in order to avoid extreme temperatures. Members are notified two weeks prior to shipment. Additional optional shipments may be available in exceptional vintage years.

Wine Selection: Each shipment contains three to six bottles of wine, one bottle each of our new releases. Technical notes and a letter from Founder & Winemaker Harry Peterson-Nedry are included with the wines. Members can choose to hold wines at the winery for a limited time instead of having them shipped.

Payment: Credit cards are charged at the time of shipment. Each shipment averages $175. There is no fee to join and you only pay for the wine you receive.
