Our TASTING ROOM in Downtown Newberg.

Visit us at our TASTING ROOM, located in a recently renovated historic building in downtown Newberg, Oregon (106 Center Street at the corner of Center Street and Highway 99). We are about a 45-minute drive from downtown Portland. (Location & Map)

We offer tastings in two flights: our Core Flight for $5 or our Reserve Flight for $10. (Tasting fees are refundable with purchase of 2 bottles.) Hours are 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. from Thursday to Monday.

Groups of 8 or more: Please contact sales@chehalemwines.com or call us at 503-538-4700 to schedule your tasting. This ensures we will have enough time to prepare for your visit and provide you and our other guests with the most enjoyable tasting possible. Please note that due to limited space, we try to accommodate group tastings before 2:00 p.m. on the weekends.

Our WINERY is NOT OPEN for tastings and is ONLY OPEN during special events, including Memorial Weekend in the Wine Country and Wine Contry Thanksgiving. The winery is located on Highway 99 in Newberg directly across the highway from our friends at Rex Hill Winery. Please join our mailing list to learn about our upcoming events.

Our most popular event is our annual Celebration of the Arts, where we transform our barrel cellar into an art gallery for the weekend hosting numerous artists and filling the cellar with the sounds of classical strings. Our label artist, Ted Katz, is featured every other year and is scheduled for the 2009 show.

Other events have included concerts at the winery and vineyard, barrel tastings, release parties, wine dinners, wine seminars and our annual Tasting Panel Wine Club events.
